Registration
Participation is free of charge! Participants only pay for travel and accommodation. However, we ask you to provide some information about yourself. To apply for the TSOS Spring School, please provide us with a PDF document containing the following information:
- Your name, work address, and e-mail-address
- A structured CV, outlining your academic progress so far
- A short letter of motivation on how you believe you can profit from the Spring School
- Information on whether or not you require a bed in the youth hostel (subject to availability, see below)
Please send all documents to tsos-spring-school@isse.de on or before April 1, 2013! Applications received after that point in time can not be considered. Participation is limited to at most 40 students! Applications will be processed on a first come, first serve basis, so make sure to apply early. You will receive a letter of approval shortly after you handed in your application. We reserve the right to decline applications that are incomplete or if there are other reasons that disqualify the applicant.
Registered and approved participants will receive the following services free of charge:
- Access to all tutorials, workshops, and keynotes
- Four lunch breaks, coffee breaks, a welcome reception and a gala dinner
- All course material, documentation, and other papers required to prepare the team assignments
- Access to Augsburg University's Wi-Fi network (Eduroam or personalised access code)
Staying at the Augsburg Youth Hostel
There are a limited number of twin bed rooms available at the Augsburg Youth Hostel at a rate of 25,50 € per bed, including breakfast and bed linen. If you would like to stay at the Youth Hostel, please clearly denote this fact in your application! We will book your bed for you and you will pay directly at the youth hostel. Please note that only twin rooms are available and you will thus share your room with another participant.
If you want to stay at the youth hostel, hand in your application on or before March 1, 2013! After that date, we will not be able to reserve a bed for you in the youth hostel and you will have to choose another accommodation.
